In this process blood is taken in a tube and anticogulant is added and centrifuge for 30min the result is that fegunay plasma on tap which is 55% and blood cells settels down on the bottom and is about 45%.

When clotting take place fibrinogen convert in fibren which trops the blood cells serum oozes out.
